Quality care should be within reach for every family. There are several ways to lower the cost of care at Twinkle Little Stars, and our office is happy to walk you through each one.

See What Works for Your Family

Delaware Purchase of Care (POC)

Yes, we accept Delaware Purchase of Care. POC is Delaware’s child care subsidy program for eligible families who are working or attending school, and it is managed by the Division of Social Services (DSS).

Our POC Site ID is 1720009800. Share it with your caseworker to speed up your authorization.

Not enrolled in POC yet? You can learn more and apply through Delaware Health and Social Services. Once you’re approved, our office will help you understand your authorization and any co-pay.

Sibling Discount

Enrolling more than one child? Families receive 10% off tuition for each additional child enrolled full-time at the same time. The discount applies to the lower weekly rate.

For POC families, the discount applies to the portion of tuition you pay directly. Sibling discounts cannot be combined with other tuition discounts.

Staff Tuition Discount

We take care of the people who take care of our children. Full-time Twinkle Little Stars team members receive a 50% tuition discount for their children.

Meals Included at No Extra Cost

Twinkle Little Stars participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are included in tuition, so there are no lunches to pack and no extra food costs.

Child Care Tax Credits

Money you spend on child care may qualify for the federal Child and Dependent Care Tax Credit, which can lower the taxes you owe. Delaware also offers its own state child and dependent care credit.

Please talk with a tax professional about what you qualify for.

Child Care as an Employer Benefit

Many employers offer a Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA), which lets you pay for child care with pre-tax dollars. Starting in 2026, households can set aside up to $7,500 per year. Some employers also offer direct child care assistance.

Check with your HR department to see what is available to you.
